A Bright Future
FOR
Lower Valley

I’m running for the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors because our electricity grid is undergoing significant change and the decisions being made today will shape the affordability and reliability of our power system for years to come. My children are third-generation Jackson kids, and it’s critically important to me that we put solutions in place today that will serve them and future generations of our community. With decades of experience working in the energy industry, I have an opportunity and responsibility to use my expertise to help ensure our community’s energy resources are managed wisely and thoughtfully for years to come.

Professionally, I am the CEO of a small Wyoming company working at the intersection of utilities, technology, and the evolving power grid. I hold a master’s degree in electrical power engineering from the University of Washington and undergraduate degrees from Dartmouth. Locally, I look for ways to contribute to Wyoming businesses and entrepreneurs in our community. I have supported efforts like Poppy, a community-first workspace in town, and Silicon Couloir, an organization focused on fostering entrepreneurship in our region. Prior to my current CEO work, I worked as VP and General Manager of a software-as-a-service business overseeing complex engineering projects, lead nationwide market development for a local energy resources company, and worked for four years as a manager of utility program operations and two years as a power electronics researcher, designing power components themselves.

I want to use my background and expertise to bring forward practical solutions that keep our rates affordable and our power reliable. This will require thoughtful planning, strong oversight, and a clear understanding of the options ahead. As an energy expert and experienced business leader, I’m committed to bringing that perspective to the LVE board in service of our member-owners.

Thank you for your consideration and support. I would be honored to serve the community and my fellow members as your Lower Valley Energy District 7 board representative.
